WHAT IS THE RDM?

The RDM is short for Results Driven Metric, a new digital marketing statistic developed by the team at Results Driven Marketing, LLC.

This revolutionary new keyword analysis metric finds the “sweet spot” for keywords, putting a number value on a keyword’s ability to have high traffic but also be easy to rank for. We calculate this number using a formula we created, so the higher the RDM value the more efficient the keyword is.

BUT WHAT'S THAT MEAN?

One of the pillars of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the use of keywords. Search Engines like Google and Bing recognize web pages based on keywords and display those results based on rankings they give pages for the keywords being searched.

What The RDM does is give anyone from marketing professionals to people brand new to SEO a stat to measure how effective a keyword is compared to another keyword. You plug in a group of keywords and we give them a number to sort their value.

We take a single keyword you provide us and do the standard and basic keyword research. This means from that one keyword and your website URL we find a number of additional keyword variants related to your website, your business and the services you provide.
Step 2 - Generate List

From the basic keyword research we construct a list of viable longtail keyword alternatives. This list is based on access to data we have which tells us what the search volume and difficulty is for each keyword. Our lists can contain up to thousands of keyword alternatives.
Step 3 - Crunch the Data

From the list of keywords, we then crunch the data using the Results Driven Metric's formula. And within minutes we pare down a list of thousands of keywords down into a list of the most efficient choices: Keywords that have the highest volume and lowest difficulty.

IT CAN'T REALLY BE THAT SIMPLE CAN IT?

Yes and no.

Yes it’s that simple because we’ve done the heavy lifting for you. We’ve gone and found the data. We’ve created the scoring system to make the comparison work, and we’ve developed the formula. All you need to do is feed in the keywords and we give you the RDM data.

No, it’s not simple because we’re dealing with comparative statistics. We’re collecting data but there is a degree of imprecision in the data itself. Different search engines collect data differently so our very core statistics are based on an approximation.

This stat works great when comparing groups of keywords to each other. But they are not going to give you a precise measurement of Search Traffic.
